Position title: Broadband Project Manager
Type of employment: temporary civil service
Salary conditions (gross): From EUR 2,500 gross/ The resulting salary is competitive with the private sector and will depend on the candidate’s experience and expertise.
Job Information:
As a Broadband Project Manager, you will manage the project Strengthening the regulatory enforcement and government oversight of electronic communications and postal services and improving broadband accessibility. You will be responsible for the preparation of national and European documents in the field of communication infrastructure. You will manage state IT projects in order to move forward in a trend-setting and transparent manner. Manage solutions that make sense and that you are going to be using yourself.
Job Description, Responsibilities:
As part of this role, you will:
- manage the project „Strengthening the regulatory enforcement and state oversight of electronic communications and postal services and improving broadband availability“ from the position of an expert in planning the development and monitoring the deployment of communications infrastructure
- contribute to the preparation of national and European documents in the field of communication infrastructure
- contribute to the preparation of national and European broadband policies,
- to prepare and plan the development and monitoring of the deployment of communication infrastructure in the Slovak Republic
Candidate requirements:
- minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (in positions such as project manager, development manager, business architect, IT architect, IT team leader, IT analyst / lead analyst, etc.);
- relevant experience and knowledge in project management
- experience in IT project delivery
- experience in communicating with internal customer at the level of clarifying and challenging requirements and finding compromise solutions
- knowledge of broadband a great advantage
Education and experience required:
- university degree II
- at least 3 years of experience as a project manager
- relevant professional experience of more than 5 years in the telecommunications field
